CUT FLOWERS

Our flowers are a natural, perishable product. We harvest with the goal of extending vase life as long as possible, but some factors can shorten the life of your blooms, such as placing your bouquet in direct sunlight, or having foliage in contact with standing water. We cannot offer a vase life guarantee, but most varieties will be at their peak for 3-7 days with proper care such as the use of flower food, clean water, and a clean vessel. Some varieties may tint your water, or be more prone to bacterial growth, so we recommend changing out your water every 3-4 days.

Being an all-natural farm product, insect damage may be present on your blooms. An occasional insect may also be present, as they are a vital part of the active biological system on the farm, so kindly do not use our flowers if an insect would be traumatizing. Some varieties such as Dahlias are more prone to the presence of insects, but we take extra measures to try and limit any unwelcome stowaways.

WARNING: some varieties are poisonous to humans and animals if ingested. These include Sweet Pea and Larkspur. Sweet Pea flowers are not sweet, and are NOT EDIBLE—they should not be confused with garden peas commonly grown for consumption. Great care should be taken around pets and children to ensure that our flowers are not consumed. Consult with poison control if ingested.

Some varieties may also be irritating to the skin/eyes, so do not touch if allergic. The sap from Narcissus can irritate the skin with prolonged contact. Fox Ridge Flowers LLC is not responsible for ingestion or misuse.

BOUQUET SUBSCRIPTION/CSA

Our bouquet subscription is setup as a CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture) share ownership. This means that with the purchase of a share, a certain portion of our production capacity is assigned, and available for pickup or delivery as agreed-upon during purchase. A pre-determined day of pickup or delivery will be set, and cannot be deviated from. If the purchaser of the bouquet is unable to pick up on the assigned day, the item becomes forfeit and will not be held or available on another day.

A bouquet subscription is a "grower's choice" item, meaning that we provide you with our best variety of whatever is currently blooming. CSA share owners are not able to request changes to a bouquet or dictate its content in advance.

TIMING/AVAILBILITY

We are on nature's schedule and cannot guarantee the timing of blooms. Our estimates of availability may not match the year's current weather patterns. If your event requires a specific flower on a specific day, we will do our best to accommodate, but this can be challenging depending on the type of flower. Some flowers have a lengthy harvest window, or can be planted in succession to prolong availability, but when it comes to perennial shrubs such as Peonies, they may only be harvested for a couple days of the year. Predicting those days a few months in advance is not feasible. Although we cannot guarantee in advance that we will have a particular flower, we can usually provide a similar color palette and/or style.

COLOR

Nature influences the coloring of blooms, and we cannot guarantee that a flower will perfectly match a picture or color swatch. Not only will the same plant provide variation as a matter of genetic function, but weather conditions also cause variation, and some blooms change color over the course of a few days while in the vase. Fox Ridge Flowers does not use any type of dye or color treatment.

REFUNDS/GUARANTEE OF GROWTH

Our live lavender plants come with a 6-month guarantee of growth, meaning that if they fail to grow within 6 months of proper care, a replacement or refund will be granted. Upon receipt of your live plant in the mail, please open and water within 24 hours, or this guarantee becomes void.

Dahlia tubers are shipped in a state of dormancy, and do not carry the same guarantee as a live plant. If stored in a location with excess moisture or humidity, a tuber can develop mold or rot. Please inspect your tubers upon receipt. Should a tuber arrive in an unsatisfactory condition, please let us know within 3 days, and a replacement or refund will be granted. If your tuber fails to sprout after a few weeks of being in the ground, please let us know by July 1st or we will not be able to provide a refund.

Refunds are not possible for CSA subscription bouquets. If a bouquet was delivered in an unsatisfactory condition, a replacement may be provided.
